Information about Purely Probate
The owner Judith Derbyshire was Company Secretary and head of legal at C&J Clark Ltd (Clarks Shoes) for 20 years, before setting up Purely Probate following a poor experience obtaining a grant of probate for a relative.

Purely Probate is focused on providing excellent service and looking after clients with compassion at what can be a difficult period in their lives.
The firm has grown organically and there are now 4 experienced private client solicitors, 2 legal executives, 1 paralegal, 1 administrative assistant and an accounts manager.
Purely Probate’s office is in an idyllic location, amongst the apple orchards, ponds and streams of West Bradley in Somerset.

The firm has a strong network in the local area. It has an established and growing will bank and an ever-increasing workload from new contacts and repeat referrals.
All this has contributed to the firm’s successful business performance.
In the first half of 2022 turnover grew by 44%, and profit by 39%.
