I am really pleased to have joined the team at Purely Probate. I wanted to come to work with Purely Probate because it offers its clients something a bit different from the traditional law firm.
Working here is refreshing. The company puts clients at the centre of what it offers.
My main motivation for leaving my previous career as a project manager and becoming a solicitor was to have the opportunity to work with and help individuals on a day-to-day basis. It is a privilege to help people plan for their future and I have met many interesting, lovely people as clients.
As a solicitor I advise clients on planning for their future. I draft Wills, advise on, draft and administer trusts, prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney, act on Court of Protection matters including acting for or assisting Deputies, administer Estates and advise on tax planning issues. I have worked with elderly and vulnerable clients and am experienced in advising on issues such as capacity.
I have two little boys (aged 1 and 4) who keep me extremely busy when I am not working. I can honestly add being a Thomas the Tank Engine expert to my list of recently acquired expertise. When I am working, I split my time between Purely Probate’s offices and Bath, where I have loved living for many years.
I am a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners.
